Ave, Soror Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF GHGH

I left behind the ways of careA
The crowded hurrying hoursB
I breathed again the woodland airA
I plucked the woodland flowersB
-
Bluebells as yet but half awakeC
Primroses pale and coolD
Anemones like stars that shakeC
In a green twilight poolD
-
On these still lay the enchanted shadeE
The magic April sunF
With my own child a child I strayedE
And thought the years were oneF
-
As through the copse she went and cameG
My senses lost their truthH
I called her by the dear dead nameG
That sweetened all my youthH
