Far did I rove and found no certain home | B |
At last I sought them in His sheltering breast | A |
Who opes His arms and bids the weary come | C |
With Him I found a home a rest divine | D |
And since then I am His and He is mine | D |

The good I have is from His stores supplied | E |
The ill is only what He deems the best | A |
He for my Friend I m rich with naught beside | E |
And poor without Him though of all possessed | A |
Changes may come I take or I resign | D |
Content while I am His while He is mine | D |

Whate er may change in Him no change is seen | F |
A glorious Sun that wanes not nor declines | G |
Above the clouds and storms He walks serene | F |
And on His people s inward darkness shines | G |
All may depart I fret not nor repine | F |
While I my Savior s am while He is mine | F |

While here alas I know but half His love | H |
But half discern Him and but half adore | I |
But when I meet Him in the realms above | H |
I hope to love Him better praise Him more | I |
And feel and tell amid the choir divine | F |
How fully I am His and He is mine | F |
