Though All The Fates Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFFEEGGHHFF

THOUGH all the fates should prove unkindA
Leave not your native land behindA
The ship becalmed at length stands stillB
The steed must rest beneath the hillB
But swiftly still our fortunes paceC
To find us out in every placeC
-
The vessel though her masts be firmD
Beneath her copper bears a wormD
Around the cape across the lineE
Till fields of ice her course confineE
It matters not how smooth the breezeF
How shallow or how deep the seasF
Whether she bears Manilla twineE
Or in her hold Madeira wineE
Or China teas or Spanish hidesG
In port or quarantine she ridesG
Far from New England's blustering shoreH
New England's worm her hulk shall boreH
And sink her in the Indian seasF
Twine wine and hides and China teasF
