The Poet's Delay Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

IN vain I see the morning riseA
In vain observe the western blazeB
Who idly look to other skiesA
Expecting life by other waysB
-
Amidst such boundless wealth withoutC
I only still am poor withinD
The birds have sung their summer outC
But still my spring does not beginD
-
Shall I then wait the autumn windE
Compelled to seek a milder dayF
And leave no curious nest behindE
No woods still echoing to my layF
