Our Last Grand Camping Ground Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDDED FFGHAAG IJKJDDLD

On a pebly shore where forevermoreA
Gently creeps a music laden waveB
In the meadows green which beyond are seenC
Camps a conq'ring army true and braveB
Shining are the weapons of this martial throngD
Crimson died their banner battleworn so longD
But now they cast them down and each receives a crownE
Whey they chant their never ending songD
-
Our Saviour and our KingF
His victories shall ringF
His conquests thro' eternity shall soundG
And war shall be noH
War more shall be no moreA
we have reach'd the shoreA
Safely reach'd our last grand camping groundG
-
While thro' lovely dells grander music swellsI
Richer chords from rarer harps of goldJ
List that soft refrain that sweet vocal strainK
Wherein now the victors' deeds are toldJ
How they toil'd in darkness battling the wrongD
How in hours of weakness Jesus made them strongD
Acknowledg'd as his own he seats them on his throneL
While they join the never ending songD
