Farewell, My Loved One! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAAABAB CBDED FAFAGHGH CICIGJGJ KLKLKMKM

Round me now beneath the weeping willowA
Night's refreshing breezes blowA
Anguish drove me from a sleepless pillowA
Hours and hours agoA
You and you alone may know my sorrowA
You my confidante of yoreB
You my loved one when I must tomorrowA
Lose forever moreB
-
Farewell my loved oneC
Yet once moreB
Let me press you to my heartD
Once our Fate with cruel fingersE
Tears our souls apartD
-
Though you may forget it I rememberF
Yes for sweet it was to knowA
What you told me in that dear DecemberF
Years and years agoA
Whisper once again a truth so cheeringG
Would you not those words denyH
And the sound shall linger in my hearingG
Even till I dieH
-
Fondly let the last adieu be spokenC
Since we must our dreams dismissI
These heart linklets since they must be brokenC
Break them with a kissI
Then though bitter tears will still be flowingG
One sweet confort may I claimJ
As I walk this world of changes knowingG
You are still the sameJ
-
While my treasure I relinquish let meK
Wish you heart wealth that enduresL
Even should you by and by forget meK
Faithful friends be yoursL
May you never know a life so lonelyK
Or a sky so dark aboveM
May you never having one love onlyK
Lose that only loveM
