Come To Me, Sunbeam! I'm Dying Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDE FGBGEEEE BHIHJEJE JBJBEKEK

Come to me Sunbeam I'm dyingA
Uncared for distress'd and aloneB
Even now the pale angel with icy hand seizesC
The heart that throbb'd along with your ownB
Darling delay not for enginewheel stay notD
But wing'd by love fly to my sideE
Swift as the morning beams fly or I may notD
Your coming abideE
-
Bring the calm joy of your presenceF
To a chill'd heart the warmth of your loveG
With a glance of these dear eyes this darkness illumineB
Until there comes light from aboveG
Eyes that shine clearest with language sincerestE
Come speak me forgiven and bless'dE
Would you refuse me my chosen my dearestE
This dying requestE
-
Still for your footsteps I listenB
Each momemt I listen and longH
For the voice that might break this dead silence with musicI
As sweet as an angelic songH
Can you not hear me Oh will you not cheer meJ
At least with one loving adieuE
Yield me how can I when you are not near meJ
I'm dying for youE
-
One in this world and one onlyJ
Could soothe me could comfort me nowB
Charm'd away were my anguish and you here beside meJ
Your gentle hand laid on my browB
Come I entrust you If once I might meet youE
Sweet Sunbeam what doubts you dispelK
Clasp my hand kiss me love so will I greet youE
In Heaven FarewellK
