Your Country And Mine Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCBBADEEDDAAFFAAGB FFBB

Sing of America sing of our CountryA
Land of two oceans of palm tree and pineB
Firm as the rock of her towering mountainsC
Free as her rivers from Heaven born fountainsC
Unafraid as her eagle as true to the lineB
Sing of our Country your Country and mineB
Sing of America self governed CountryA
Dear Land thou to tyranny never wilt bowD
Ever with thee the oppressed have had havenE
While Freedom droops thy true sons are not cravenE
Look They are fighting to honor thee nowD
With Victory and Peace to bejewel thy browD
Sing of America loving humanityA
Avenge ye the slaughtered Heed ye her decreeA
Ye who have reaped of the father's brave sowingF
High hold your flag when the war winds are blowingF
Safe for all men keep the path of the seaA
Secure in their rights help small Nations to beA
Fight for America noble AmericaG
Liberty Justice and Truth the divineB
Carrying onward her lamp proudly burningF
Craving no empire intrigue ever spurningF
Over the Earth shall her beacon light shineB
Fight for our Country your Country and mineB
