To Diana. Iii-22 (from The Odes Of Horace) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDBE

Diana Protector of mountain and woodA
Who when three times invoked hast so well understoodA
And young mothers in child birth hast rescued from deathB
Goddess triply endowedC
Let this tree overhanging my house here this pineD
Be for thee that each year I shall consecrate thineD
Happy still with the blood of a boar whose last breathB
Planned a side long attackE
