Oak-leaves Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CBCB DBDB

Crinkled oak leaves twinkling in the sunA
Splashed by midday showers dripping coldB
Serrate oak leaves silvered by the sunA
That has brushed yon dull brown grass with goldB
-
Green and crinkled oak leaves tremble nowC
Strong you would be strong would be and boldB
Ah green oak leaves you are trembling nowC
By the saucy wind deceived cajoledB
-
Trembling oak leaves you are soon to fallD
Soon to hide the earth with yellowing mouldB
Twinkling crinkling oak leaves soon you'll fallD
For the autumn sun is shining coldB
