Tryst Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA BBBB CDCD CACA EAEA

Somewhere thou awaitestA
And I with lips unkissedA
Weep that thus to latestA
Thou puttest off our trystA
-
The golden bowls are brokenB
The silver cords untwineB
Almond flowers in tokenB
Have bloomed that I am thineB
-
Others who would fly theeC
In cowardly alarmsD
Who hate thee and deny theeC
Thou foldest in thine armsD
-
How shall I entreat theeC
No longer to withholdA
I dare not go to meet theeC
O lover far and coldA
-
O lover whose lips chillingE
So many lips have kissedA
Come even if unwillingE
And keep thy solemn trystA
