Chance Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDCECE

These things wondering I saw beneath the sunA
That never yet the race was to the swiftB
The fight unto the mightiest to liftB
Nor favors unto men whose skill had doneA
Great works nor riches ever unto oneA
Wise man of understanding All is driftB
Of time and chance and none may stay or siftB
Or know the end of that which is begunA
Who waits until the wind shall silent keepC
Will never find the ready hour to sowD
Who watcheth clouds will have no time to reapC
At daydawn plant thy seed and be not slowE
At night God doth not slumber take nor sleepC
Which seed shall prosper thou shalt never knowE
