The Great Western Plains Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCD BEFG BHBIJ KLB

The little voices of the prairie dogsA
Are tirelessB
They will give three hurrahsB
Alike to stage equestrian and pullmanC
And all unstingingly as to the moonD
-
And Fifi's bows and poodle easeB
Whirl by them centred on the lapE
Of Lottie Honeydew movie queenF
Toward lawyers and NevadaG
-
And how much more they cannot seeB
Alas there is so little timeH
The world moves by so fast these daysB
Burrowing in silk is not their wayI
And yet they know the tomahawkJ
-
Indeed old memories come back to lifeK
Pathetic yelps have sometimes greetedL
Noses pressed against the glassB
