Two Poems Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCB D DE A FGGG HGBG

IA
-
If suddenly a clod of earth should riseB
And walk about and breathe and speak and loveC
How one would tremble and in what surpriseB
Gasp 'Can you move '-
-
I see men walking and I always feelD
'Earth How have you done this What can you be '-
I can't learn how to know men or concealD
How strange they are to meE
-
-
IIA
-
A flower is looking through the groundF
Blinking at the April weatherG
Now a child has seen the flowerG
Now they go and play togetherG
-
Now it seems the flower will speakH
And will call the child its brotherG
But oh strange forgetfulnessB
They don't recognize each otherG
