Twilight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED FDFD GHGH IJIK

The happiest hour of all the dayA
To me is always lastB
When both my studies and my playA
My walks and work are pastB
-
When round the bright warm fire we comeC
With hearts so light and freeD
And all within our happy homeE
Are talking quietlyD
-
Then by my dear kind father's sideF
I sit or on his kneeD
And then I tell him I have triedF
His gentle girl to beD
-
And then he says the little childG
Is loved by every oneH
Who has a temper sweet and mildG
And smiling as the sunH
-
Let me do always as I shouldI
Nor vex my father dearJ
And let me be as glad and goodI
As he would have me hereK
