Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFG HAIA JKLK MNOP QRSR RTJT UVWV

O Mother here's the organ manA
And here's the monkey tooB
Just see his funny gown of redC
And little cap of blueB
-
O look he's on the window thereD
His cap is in his pawE
And now he bows and makes a faceF
What can it all be forG
-
O now they've dropped some money inH
While quickly as he canA
See he puts on his cap and givesI
The pennies to the manA
-
Mamma why don't you look at himJ
You have not seen at allK
Just see him climbing up and downL
With paws so brown and smallK
-
He's gone away O dear mammaM
Why did you not come hereN
You never saw in all your lifeO
A thing one half as queerP
-
I'll tell you why my little sonQ
I do not like to seeR
That monkey bow and jump aboutS
'Tis no delight to meR
-
They've had to treat him cruellyR
To teach him how to playT
They've had to whip and punish himJ
And take his food awayT
-
And that is why I do not loveU
To see him dancing soV
And if you thought of it my boyW
You'd feel with me I knowV
