The Little Beggar-girl Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIJ KLMN

I've just looked from the windowA
To see the snow come downB
And make the streets look nice and whiteC
That lately were so brownB
-
I've seen a little beggar girlD
Go by in all the coldE
She had no shoes nor stockings onF
Her dress was torn and oldE
-
How thankful I should be to GodG
Who gives me clothes and foodH
A nice warm fire a pleasant homeI
And parents kind and goodJ
-
Mamma I'll always try to helpK
The hungry and the poorL
For those who are not warmed and fedM
I pity I am sureN
