The Launch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKCK

Come sister Ellen get your hatA
And come away with meB
My boat all rigged with mast and sailC
I want you so to seeB
-
Do you upon the landing standD
While here I'll kneel and blowE
So that the little Water witchF
Beneath the arch may goE
-
There there she's off how fast she goesG
Across the river wideH
I'd love to sit in her myselfI
And o'er the water glideH
-
When I'm a man I'll have a boatJ
And every sunny dayK
We'll take a long and pleasant sailC
Till daylight fades awayK
