The Bird's Nest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH BJKJ LDMD

What is Harry thinking ofA
Sitting on that mossy stoneB
All his brothers are at playC
Why is he so still and loneB
-
He is musing earnestlyD
And the flutterings of the birdE
And its pleading feeble chirpF
Fall upon his ear unheardE
-
Well may little Harry thinkG
From the pear tree's withered boughH
He has brought the pretty nestI
Placed within his hat crown nowH
-
That is why he sits aloneB
And he hears a voice withinJ
Louder than the Robin's noteK
Crying Harry this is sinJ
-
Then put back the nest my boyL
So you will be glad and freeD
Nor will hasten by in shameM
When you pass that withered treeD
