If Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

If a man could live a thousand yearsA
When half his life had passedB
He might by strict economyC
A fortune have amassedB
-
Then having gained some common senseD
And knowledge too of lifeE
He could select the woman whoF
Would make him a true wifeE
-
But as it is man hasn't timeG
To even pay his debtsH
And weds to be acquainted withI
The woman whom he getsH
