In the city set upon slime and loamB
They cry in their parliament 'Who goes home '-
And there comes no answer in arch or domeB
For none in the city of graves goes homeB
Yet these shall perish and understandC
For God has pity on this great landC
-
Men that are men again who goes homeB
Tocsin and trumpeter Who goes homeB
For there's blood on the field and blood on the foamB
And blood on the body when Man goes homeB
And a voice valedictory Who is for VictoryD
Who is for Liberty Who goes homeB
