The Trinkets Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHDHDIJI HKLKKBHB

A wandering world of riversA
A wavering world of treesB
If the world grow dim and dizzyC
With all changes and degreesB
It is but Our Lady's mirrorD
Hung dreaming in its placeE
Shining with only shadowsF
Till she wakes it with her faceE
-
The standing whirlpool of the starsG
The wheel of all the worldH
Is a ring on Our Lady's fingerD
With the suns and moons empearledH
With stars for stones to please herD
Who sits playing with her ringsI
With the great heart that a woman hasJ
And the love of little thingsI
-
Wings of the whirlwind of the worldH
From here to IspahanK
Spurning the flying forestsL
Are light as Our Lady's fanK
For all things violent here and vainK
Lie open and all at easeB
Where God has girded heaven to guardH
Her holy vanitiesB
