Morning Midday And Evening Sacrifice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCC DDDDEFE CGCGHHH

The dappled die awayA
Cheek and wimpled lipB
The gold wisp the airy greyA
Eye all in fellowshipB
This all this beauty bloomingC
This all this freshness fumingC
Give God while worth consumingC
-
Both thought and thew now bolderD
And told by Nature TowerD
Head heart hand heel and shoulderD
That beat and breathe in powerD
This pride of prime's enjoymentE
Take as for tool not toy meantF
And hold at Christ's employmentE
-
The vault and scope and schoolingC
And mastery in the mindG
In silk ash kept from coolingC
And ripest under rindG
What life half lifts the latch ofH
What hell stalks towards the snatch ofH
Your offering with despatch ofH
