The Enchantment Of Cuchullain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBBBBBCCDDEEFFBB

While our vision backward castA
Ranged the everliving pastA
Through a haze of misty thingsB
Luminous with quiveringsB
Musical as starry chimesB
Rose a hero of old timesB
In whose breast the magic powersB
Slumbering from primeval hoursB
Woke at the enchantment wildC
Of Aed Abrait's lovely childC
Still for all her Druid learningD
With the wild bird heart whose yearningD
Blinded at his strength and beautyE
Clung to love and laughed at dutyE
Warrior chief and mystic maidF
Through your stumbling footsteps strayedF
This at least in part atonesB
Jewels were your stumbling stonesB
