The Earth Breath Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGHIIJJ

From the cool and dark lipped furrow breathes a dim delightA
Through the woodland's purple plumage to the diamond nightA
Aureoles of joy encircle every blade of grassB
Where the dew fed creatures silent and enraptured passB
And the restless ploughman pauses turns and wonderingC
Deep beneath his rustic habit finds himself a kingC
For a fiery moment looking with the eyes of GodD
Over fields a slave at morning bowed him to the sodD
Blind and dense with revelation every moment fliesE
And unto the mighty mother gay eternal riseE
All the hopes we hold the gladness dreams of things to beF
One of all thy generations mother hails to theeF
Hail and hail and hail for ever though I turn againG
From thy joy unto the human vestiture of painH
I thy child who went forth radiant in the golden primeI
Find thee still the mother hearted through my night in timeI
Find in thee the old enchantment there behind the veilJ
Where the gods my brothers linger Hail for ever hailJ
