Reconciliation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABA CDCDC EFEF GHGH IJKJ LMNM OPO

I begin through the grass once again to be bound to the LordA
I can see through a face that has faded the face full of restB
Of the Earth of the Mother my heart with her heart in accordA
As I lie mid the cool green tresses that mantle her breastB
I begin with the grass once again to be bound to the LordA
-
By the hand of a child I am led to the throne of the KingC
For a touch that now fevers me not is forgotten and farD
And His infinite sceptred hands that sway us can bringC
Me in dreams from the laugh of a child to the song of a starD
On the laugh of a child I am borne to the joy of the KingC
-
Well when all is said and doneE
Best within my narrow wayF
May some angel of the sunE
Muse memorial o'er my clayF
-
'Here was beauty all betrayedG
From the freedom of her stateH
From her human uses stayedG
On an idle rhyme to waitH
-
Ah what deep despair might moveI
If the beauty lit a smileJ
Or the heart was warm with loveK
That was pondering the whileJ
-
He has built his monumentL
With the winds of time at strifeM
Who could have before he wentN
Written in the book of lifeM
-
To the stars from which he cameO
Empty handed he goes homeP
He who might have wrought in flameO
Only traced upon the foam '-
