Day Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

In day from some titanic past it seemsA
As if a thread divine of memory runsB
Born ere the Mighty One began his dreamsA
Or yet were stars and sunsB
-
But here an iron will has fixed the barsC
Forgetfulness falls on earth's myriad racesD
No image of the proud and morning starsC
Looks at us from their facesD
-
Yet yearning still to reach to those dim heightsE
Each dream remembered is a burning glassF
Where through to darkness from the Light of LightsE
Its rays in splendour passF
