Creation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFGF HIHI

As one by one the veils took flightA
The day withdrew the stars came upB
The spirit issued dark and brightA
Filling thy beauty like a cupB
-
Sacred thy laughter on the airC
Holy thy lightest word that fellD
Proud the innumerable hairC
That waved at the enchanter's spellD
-
Oh Master of the BeautifulE
Creating us from hour to hourF
Give me this vision to the fullG
To see in lightest things thy powerF
-
This vision give no heaven afarH
No throne and yet I will rejoiceI
Knowing beneath my feet a starH
Thy word in every wandering voiceI
