Brotherhood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEDDFFGHDDII JJKKDD

Twilight a blossom grey in shadowy valleys dwellsA
Under the radiant dark the deep blue tinted bellsA
In quietness re mage heaven within their bloomsB
Sapphire and gold and mystery What strange perfumesB
Out of what deeps arising all the flower bells flingC
Unknowing the enchanted odorous song they singC
Oh never was an eve so living yet the woodD
Stirs not but breathes enraptured quietideD
Here in these shades the Ancient knows itself the SoulE
And out of slumber waking starts unto the goalE
What bright companions nod and go along with itD
Out of the teeming dark what dusky creatures flitD
That through the long leagues of the island night aboveF
Come by me wandering whispering beseeching loveF
As in the twilight children gather close and pressG
Nigh and more nigh with shadowy tendernessH
Feeling they know not what with noiseless footsteps glideD
Seeking familiar lips or hearts to dream besideD
O voices I would go with you with you awayI
Facing once more the radiant gateways of the dayI
With you with you what memories arise and nighJ
Trampling the crowded figures of the dawn go byJ
Dread deities the giant powers that warred on menK
Grow tender brothers and gay children once againK
Fades every hate away before the Mother's breastD
Where all the exiles of the heart return to restD
