To Thomas Moore Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB BDBD BEBF GHGH IAIC

My boat is on the shoreA
And my bark is on the seaB
But before I go Tom MooreC
Here's a double health to theeB
-
Here's a sigh to those who love meB
And a smile to those who hateD
And whatever sky's above meB
Here's a heart for every fateD
-
Though the ocean roar around meB
Yet it still shall bear me onE
Though a desert should surround meB
It hath springs that may be wonF
-
Were't the last drop in the wellG
As I gasp'd upon the brinkH
Ere my fainting spirit fellG
'Tis to thee that I would drinkH
-
With that water as this wineI
The libation I would pourA
Should be peace with thine and mineI
And a health to thee Tom MooreC
