She Walks In Beauty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAB CDCDCD EFGHGF

She walks in Beauty like the nightA
Of cloudless climes and starry skiesB
And all that's best of dark and brightA
Meet in her aspect and her eyesB
Thus mellowed to that tender lightA
Which Heaven to gaudy day deniesB
-
One shade the more one ray the lessC
Had half impaired the nameless graceD
Which waves in every raven tressC
Or softly lightens o'er her faceD
Where thoughts serenely sweet expressC
How pure how dear their dwelling placeD
-
And on that cheek and o'er that browE
So soft so calm yet eloquentF
The smiles that win the tints that glowG
But tell of days in goodness spentH
A mind at peace with all belowG
A heart whose love is innocentF
