Francisca Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFF

Francisca walks in the shadow of nightA
But it is not to gaze on the heavenly lightA
But if she sits in her garden bowerB
'Tis not for the sake of its blowing flowerB
She listens but not for the nightingaleC
Though her ear expects as soft a taleC
There winds a step through the foliage thickD
And her cheek grows pale and her heart beats quickD
There whispers a voice thro' the rustling leavesE
A moment more and they shall meetF
'Tis past her lover's at her feetF
