A Fragment. [1] Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABBAACCDDEE| When to their airy hall my Fathers' voice | A |
| Shall call my spirit joyful in their choice | A |
| When pois'd upon the gale my form shall ride | B |
| Or dark in mist descend the mountain's side | B |
| Oh may my shade behold no sculptur'd urns | A |
| To mark the spot where earth to earth returns | A |
| No lengthen'd scroll no praise encumber'd stone | C |
| My epitaph shall be my name alone | C |
| If that with honour fail to crown my clay | D |
| Oh may no other fame my deeds repay | D |
| That only that shall single out the spot | E |
| By that remember'd or with that forgot | E |
