Imagination Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD

Imagination plays me most intolerable tricksA
To enumerate them all would be unbearably prolixA
Just a trifle bids them gather and a trifle bids them goB
And they tease me and torment me more than anyone can knowB
-
Tricks of strange disordered action tricks of strange disordered thoughtC
Tricks of seeking explanations most unprofitably soughtC
But my will is learning daily when the creatures growl and leapD
That a stern voice and a stinging lash will drive them back to sleepD
