Heinelet Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

They met as it were in a mistA
Pale curious eager uncertainB
When each clasped the other and kissedA
The mist rolled aside like a curtainB
-
There were fields of delight to exploreC
Where it seemed that their lips could not severD
Now their lips are as lone as beforeC
And the cold mist is thicker than everD
