Comedy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDBBEF| I'm writing comedy again | A |
| The daintiest pleasure known to men | A |
| Unless a daintier might be | B |
| To watch your acted comedy | B |
| The airy ladies gaily dressed | C |
| And much adored and much caressed | C |
| The men who swagger like game cocks | D |
| Or undermine like cunning fox | D |
| And over all these shaken free | B |
| The spangled gleam of repartee | B |
| No keener joy awaits us here | E |
| And yet each day I write with fear | F |
