Romance Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDB AEFEGE HIEIJI KLBLML ABHBNB

I saw a ship a sailingA
A sailing on the seaB
Her masts were of the shining goldC
Her deck of ivoryB
And sails of silk as soft as milkD
And silver shrouds had sheB
-
And round about her sailingA
The sea was sparkling whiteE
The waves all clapped their hands and sangF
To see so fair a sightE
They kissed her twice they kissed her thriceG
And murmured with delightE
-
Then came the gallant captainH
And stood upon the deckI
In velvet coat and ruffles whiteE
Without a spot or speckI
And diamond rings and triple stringsJ
Of pearls around his neckI
-
And four and twenty sailorsK
Were round him bowing lowL
On every jacket three times threeB
Gold buttons in a rowL
And cutlasses down to their kneesM
They made a goodly showL
-
And then the ship went sailingA
A sailing o'er the seaB
She dived beyond the setting sunH
But never back came sheB
For she found the lands of the golden sandsN
Where the pearls and diamonds beB
