Nature Is Not As You Imagine Her... Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIEJKLMNOPQRD STUVWX

Nature is not as you imagine herA
She's not a mold nor yet a soulless maskB
She is made up of soul and freedomC
She is made up of love and speechD
E
Observe the leaves and flowers on a treeF
Was it some gardener glued them thereG
And is a growing child in the wombH
The work of alien external forcesI
E
They do not see and do not hearJ
They live in this world as if in darknessK
For them it seems the stars don't breatheL
And ocean waves are not aliveM
The sun's rays have not reached their soulN
Spring's never bloomed within their breastO
The forest does not speak to themP
And starry nights are always muteQ
And roiling woods and riversR
With unearthly speechD
No storm's engaged them in the nightS
In friendly conversationT
They're not to blame how can the deafU
Perceive an organ's soundV
Alas their souls can not be touchedW
Not even by a mother's voiceX
