Dawn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED FGFG

The immortal spirit hath no barsA
To circumscribe its dwelling placeB
My soul hath pastured with the starsA
Upon the meadow lands of spaceB
-
My mind and ear at times have caughtC
From realms beyond our mortal reachD
The utterance of Eternal ThoughtE
Of which all nature is the speechD
-
And high above the seas and landsF
On peaks just tipped with morning lightG
My dauntless spirit mutely standsF
With eagle wings outspread for flightG
