The Snowfall Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEF GHIJKL MNOJPQ ABRIGS

Oh the slow fall of snowA
Its unending blanketing swirlB
Yet my mind's eye was giving shapeC
To what couldn't be kept hiddenD
That in the white drifts each fleckE
Is known weighed countedF
-
Oh you spinning dancing flakesG
Your tiny souls and personalitiesH
Withstand gravity weightlessness windI
In your coming and goingJ
I see your destinies glide downK
Which you begin fulfill beginL
-
This one falls soft and like woolM
The next is crystal and tenaciousN
The third's a clenched fist of struggleO
Yet their white realm disperses by morningJ
Thus one doesn't die from the restP
And they dissolve into the purest drop shapesQ
-
Oh the world's slow falling snowA
That race's dense blanketing swirlB
It perishes and not one fate melts aloneR
We melt but we are left behindI
When death the way spring wind thaws overtakesG
Us drops and comes together home in the wombS
