Unshackled Thoughts On Chivalry, Romance, Adventure, Etc. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDCEFAEGH

Yesterday afternoon while I was walking on Worth StreetA
A gust of wind blew my hat offB
I swore petulantly but somewhat noisilyC
A young woman had been near walking behind meC
She must have heard me I thoughtD
And I was ashamed and embarrassedly sorryC
So I said to her If you heard me I beg your pardonE
But she gave me a frightened lookF
And ran across the streetA
Seeking a policemanE
So I thought Why waste five hours trying to versify the incidentG
Verse libre would serve her rightH
