I thought delightfully though mutelyB
Henceforth I shall have pleasure abA
SolutelyB
-
Dull with the drudgery of warC
Sick of the name of fightingD
I yearned I thought for something moreC
ExcitingD
-
The rainbow be my guide quoth IE
My suit shall be a brave and proud oneF
Gay hued my socks and oh my tieE
A loud oneF
-
For me the theater and the danceG
Primrose the path I would be wendingD
For me the roses of romanceG
UnendingD
-
Those were my inner thoughts that dayH
And those of many another millionF
When once again I should be aI
CivilianF
-
I would not miss the o dJ
Monotony I didn't much likeK
I would not miss the reveilleB
And such the likeK
