Funerall Elegy Xiii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCAADDEE

No no he is not dead the mouth of fameA
Honor's shrill herald would preserve his nameA
And make it live in spight of death and dustB
Were there no other heaven no other trustB
He is not dead the sacred nine denyC
The soule that merits fame should ever dieC
He lives and when the latest breath of fameA
Shall want her trumpe to glorify a nameA
He shall survive and these selfe closed eyesD
That now lie slumbering in the dust shall riseD
And fill'd with endlesse glory shall enjoyE
The perfect vision of eternall joyE
