The Author To The Reader Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEE

I sing the fortune of a luckless pairA
Whose spotless souls now in one body beB
For beauty still is Prodromus to careA
Crost by the sad stars of nativityB
And of the strange enchantment of a wellC
Given by the Gods my sportive muse doth writeD
Which sweet lipp'd Ovid long ago did tellC
Wherein who bathes straight turns HermaphroditeD
I hope my poem is so lively writE
That thou wilt turn half mad with reading itE
