Fie On Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDD

Now fie on foolish love it not befitsA
Or man or woman know itB
Love was not meant for people in their witsA
And they that fondly show itB
Betray the straw and features in their brainC
And shall have Bedlam for their painC
If simple love be such a curseD
To marry is to make it ten times worseD
