Autumn Morning At Cambridge Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD

I ran out in the morning when the air was clean and newA
And all the grass was glittering and grey with autumn dewA
I ran out to the apple tree and pulled an apple downB
And all the bells were ringing in the old grey townB
-
Down in the town off the bridges and the grassC
They are sweeping up the leaves to let the people passC
Sweeping up the old leaves golden reds and brownsD
While the men go to lecture with the wind in their gownsD
