Autumn Evening Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEBB

The Shadows flickering the daylight dyingA
And I upon the old red sofa lyingA
The great brown shadows leaping up the wallB
The sparrows twittering and that is allB
-
I thought to send my soul to far off landsC
Where fairies scamper on the windy sandsC
Or where the autumn rain comes drumming downD
On huddled roofs in an enchanted townD
-
But O my sleepy soul it will not roamE
It is too happy and too warm at homeE
With just the shadows leaping up the wallB
The sparrows twittering and that is allB
