Return Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FBFB GHIH

When the bright sun back on his yearly roadA
Comes towards us his great glory seems to meB
As from the sky he pours it all abroadC
A golden herald my beloved of theeB
-
When from the south the gentle winds do blowD
Calling the flowers that sleep beneath the earthE
It sounds like sweetest music that doth goD
Before thy coming full of love and mirthE
-
When one by one the violets appearF
Opening their purple vests so modestlyB
To greet the virgin daughter of the yearF
Each seems a fragrant prophecy of theeB
-
For with the spring thou shalt return againG
Therefore the wind the flower and clear sunshineH
A double worship from my heart obtainI
A love and welcome not their own but thineH
