On A Forget-me-not, (brought From Switzerland.) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDCD EFEFGGHGGH

Flower of the mountain by the wanderer's handA
Robbed of thy beauty's short lived sunny dayB
Didst thou but blow to gem the stranger's wayB
And bloom to wither in the stranger's landA
Hueless and scentless as thou artC
How much that stirs the memoryD
How much much more that thrills the heartC
Thou faded thing yet lives in theeD
-
Where is thy beauty in the grassy bladeE
There lives more fragrance and more freshness nowF
Yet oh not all the flowers that bloom and fadeE
Are half so dear to memory's eye as thouF
The dew that on the mountain liesG
The breeze that o'er the mountain sighsG
Thy parent stem will nurse and nourishH
But thou not e'en those sunny eyesG
As bright as blue as thine own skiesG
Thou faded thing can make thee flourishH
