Passport Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGHHIIJK

Fly little bird fly while you canA
You ve got the wings you know the taste of flightB
Majestic wings of yours shall not be chainedC
Captivity is cruel in a closed tight cageD
On this gloomy black earth my being is damnedE
And all your mind can see are skies sublime and grandF
The breathtaking heights you can showG
The vastness of flight I could never knowG
Curses and troubles trace me no endH
Wherever you gaze sunlit horizons extendH
Lush heavenly window is open to youI
You fly dance here and there you re not rushing throughI
Harness the wind and tread the pedals of cloudsJ
A passport holds open to you all of the worldsK
